FoDC Upcoming Event - Visit To Audley End

Friends of Dedham Church is delighted to invite members and guests to a fascinating day out at one of England’s grandest historic houses.

On Thursday 3rd September, we’ll be travelling by coach to Audley End House and Gardens, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore magnificent state rooms, elegant private apartments and the impressive Victorian service wing, offering a glimpse into life “below stairs”. There’s also a beautifully restored 1930s nursery, resident horses in the historic stables and acres of stunning Capability Brown parkland to enjoy. 

Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, beautiful gardens or simply fancy a relaxed day out with friends, this promises to be an enjoyable trip.

The coach will depart Royal Square, Dedham at 9.00am, returning from Audley End at 4.00pm.

• Members: £45

• Non-members: £50

• English Heritage members: £25 (admission must be arranged using your membership in advance or by presenting a valid membership card on arrival).
