Past Projects:

Since the inception of the Friends, more than £230,000 has been raised and donated to Dedham Parish Church, churchyard & other village and Primary School projects:

  • Restoration of steps in the Tower, viewing platform and clock chamber walkway

  • Restoration of clerestory windows and redecoration of the nave

  • Muniment Room restoration & handrail

  • Churchyard survey, cost of public meeting and gravestone removal

  • Renovation of Churchyard paths

  • New internal window cills

  • Stained glass window, study rooms & altar table for the Primary school

  • New AV/PA system for the Primary School

  • CCTV for the Duchy Barn

  • Cleaning of the village War Memorial

  • 2 new Toilets in the Vicar's Vestry in Church and a new Hospitality Unit with running hot & cold water

  • External guttering repairs

  • Tower bell ringing rope replacement
